As I write this article I need to forewarn you that I’m having a pretty bad day so far and I’m in a foul mood. Don’t let this fool you into thinking that I don’t believe what I say. Even on a good day my feelings regarding what I am about to write would not change. The irritation of the morning is nothing more than the spark to ignite my rage at the sheer idiocy, incompetence, hypocrisy, self imposed neo-moralist, right-wing, left-wing, utter… I digress. I apologize for getting carried away.

What I plan on writing will in no small way shock and bewilder you. You’ll read in sheer amazement with mouths agape at the utter angst that will be provoked from the core of your being in regards to the crap you’re about to read about. By the end you’ll be clawing at your eyes, gnashing your teeth, banging your head against the wall, or maybe just leaving my website. At any rate, let’s move on!

The first item of the day that has my brain hemorrhaging is this wonderful piece of hypocritical, inane moral policing. The incident happened at a local college/school district. In summary a college student who was up for graduation to receive a teaching degree was informed she would not be awarded the degree, despite the fact she fully paid for school, because she had posted a picture of herself on http://www.myspace.com holding an opaque Mr. Goodbar cup with a caption of “Drunken Pirate.” The school board ruled that she was promoting underage drinking despite the fact there was no evidence of alcoholic content in the picture and that none of the students at the school or in her classes had ever visited her page. Naturally she is now suing the district.

The next amazing piece of super-paranoia comes to us from the lovely inbreeding state of Virginia. I direct you to this link where what you read boggles the mind. A new campaign started called “Stop it Now” advises, visually via billboards, for people to call in possible sexual abuse relationships BASED SOLELY on your gut feeling. The advertisement pictures a father and daughter holding hands with the caption “It just doesn’t feel right when I see it.” This completely paves the way for anyone to be marked, for life, a sex offender if there is any physical contact whatsoever between family members. Fathers are no longer allowed to have any contact with their children in the public for fear of some paranoid sheep possibly feeling “uncomfortable.” Now the masses have the power to destroy families on a whim with no evidence of even cause for alarm. In this country you are now guilty until proven innocent and even then you’re still guilty. The only solution is to not have kids.

In summary humanity, at least in this country, is going down the shitter. Thank you to conservative pricks, the president and his administration, religions zealots, and the common idiot on the street. Everyone in any place of power whether it be at the top of the government or your local PTA meetings has some kind of agenda. They want the spotlight to be on them and only them to attain some kind of recognition and 15 minutes of fame. Thusly they’ll push their own ideas, morals and beliefs on the rest of the population which leads to crazy shit like the “Stop it Now” campaign. They have no regard for the people they affect with this ludicrous self deluded ideas. Religion pushes these people even further in a maddening attempt to conform to the laws of “god.” Our country is falling behind the rest of the world in everything and no one seems to give a crap. There’s really far too many things for me to list that indicate the movement of humanity into self obliteration and civil breakdown, but we’re well on the way.

I do apologize for the lack of quality in this post. I actually started writing it several weeks ago and only today finished it. It was well thought out but did not translate well from my brain to the keyboard. Sometime soon, time pending, I’ll definitely write a more detailed article about all these things. And on that, I leave you with the final thought of the day. The official cause of the Grand Canyon is Noah’s flood from the bible according to the Bush administration, tour guides at the Canyon, and books sold and the gift ship there.
